Roles & Responsibilities
- Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently without sacrificing speed and quality of work.
- An individual contributor able to work independently yet will thrive in a internal team environment as well as in liasing with clients and project coordinators.
- Quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre-contract and post contract
- Track changes to the Design/ Construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Price/ forecast the cost of different materials required for the project
- Procurement responsibilities including preparing tender document or calling for quotation for subcontract packages including evaluation through cost comparison as well as recommendation of awards
- Certificate and evaluate progress work done; includes contract administration for any variation or change for both Subcontracts and Main Contracts
- Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims in timely manner
- Perform other QS-related duties as assigned by the Reporting Supervisor
Requirement:
- At least 1 year QS experience in construction industry
