Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to the QAQC Manager for the implementation of the product quality system and improvement of customers' satisfaction.
- Responsible for the achievement of product quality.
- Assisting QAQC Manager for ensuring that the quality system and procedures are implemented and maintained.
- Carry out effective incoming inspections to ensure acceptable quality of incoming materials.
- Assist the QAQC Manager in the planning of quality inspection procedures on new and existing products.
- Draft and update Quality Inspection Instruction for all products.
- Ensure all quality procedures are updated whenever changes are made.
- Maintain and upkeep a system for calibration of all measuring and inspection equipment.
- Assist the QAQC Manager in carrying out the quality system audit.
- Initiate action to prevent product’s non-conformity.
- Identify and record product's quality problems.
- Investigate the cause of non-conforming product and the corrective action needed to prevent recurrence.
- Assist the QAQC Manager to analyse all processes, work operations, quality records and customer complaints to detect and eliminate potential causes of non-conforming products.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Verify the implementation of recommended solution or corrective action taken.
- Control further processing and delivery of non-conforming product until its defects are corrected.
- Assist the QAQC Manager in the assessment of the on-going performance of the approved raw materials suppliers.
- Assess the suppliers providing calibration services.
Authority
- Conduct inspection on any incoming materials.
- Conduct and co-ordinate all quality audits with QAQC Manager.
- Withhold shipments of products of unsatisfactory quality level for the Manager’s disposition.
