JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform basic drafting
• Prepare design drawings / calculations / schematic diagrams / reports for;
o Mechanical ventilation system
o Fire protection system
• Perform prescriptive / performance-based submissions to Fire Safety Department (FSD)
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, inspectors and authorities
• Perform basic report writing (optional)
• Perform CFD simulations (optional)
• Perform occupants evacuation simulations (optional)
REQUIREMENTS
• Basic numerical and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Able to work in teams
• Attention to detail and iterations
• Candidate is expected to be autonomous under supervision and guidance
• Basic familiarity with Fire Code 2018, local code of practices and standards
• Familiarity with software (Mandatory)
o CAD
o Microsoft Word
o Microsoft Excel
o Microsoft Powerpoint
• Familiarity with software (Optional as training will be provided)
o Corenet
o Pyrosim
o Fire Dynamic Simulator
o Pathfinder
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum B.Eng. (Mechanical) from a recognised institution.
