Our client is a global system provider of innovative drive solutions and they are looking for an Account Manager, Singapore. He / She will be also be responsible for sales engineering and technical customer service activities that meet or exceed customer expectations; as well as to promote the revenue growth of company’s products for a designated list of key accounts in Singapore.
The successful candidate is preferred to have Power Transmission background, which can extend to cover motor, brake, coupling, gearboxes, pneumatic or inverter.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)
- Develop relationships with key people at each designated key account
- Prepare, select, and communicate quotations to designated key accounts
- Coordinate order processing to be efficient and accurate
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend products
- Expedite and provide status updates on orders for designated key accounts
- Document benefits and cost savings to designated key accounts when requested
- Inventory evaluation and recommendations to meet customer needs
- Follow up on all warranty or service repairs for designated key accounts
- Prepare and conduct presentations of products and services to designated key accounts (Sales Calls)
- Coordinate technical support when necessary
- Handle calls and all general customer service support duties for all customers within the district when not involved with designated key account activities
- Determine sales potential for designated key accounts through inquiry, observation, or periodical research.
- Utilize SAP and CRM to accomplish standard work
- All other duties as needed to meet customer expectations
REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree Required
- 8 years of outside sales experience
- Understanding of inverter / servo drive / AGV (automated guided vehicle) will be preferred
- MUST possess own vehicle for sales activities
- Ability to prioritize work; Strong interpersonal skills; Good mathematical & spatial skills; strong communication & computer skills.
