Responsibility:
- Attend training conducted by the school
- Resources and material preparation for the purpose of lessons execution
- Implement Music, Movement and Sensory/Science programmes curated by the school for children of ages 4 months to 6 years old. Do note that the classes are parent-accompanied. For the classes, the Teacher is to :-
- Coach the parents to dance with their babies;
- Guide the students to the instrument, percussion and prop play;
- Guide the students with dance movements;
- Explain to the students on Science concepts, and demonstrate/guide on craft and/or science activities
- Hands on sing and live play on ukulele/guitar/keyboard (preferred)
- Explaining the benefits of the programmes to trials for enrolment
- Feedback on the students’ progress to parents
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching music and movement at enrichment centers or preschools
- ABRSM Grade 5 in Music Theory and/or Practical preferred OR
- Diploma/ Degree/ Masters/ PhD in Education, Teaching or Early Childhood OR
- NAC-NIEI Essentials of Teaching and Learning Certificate OR
- NAC-SEED Institute Teaching the Arts in an Early Childhood Environment Certificate
- Distinction in O’ level Sciences
- Orff, Kodaly and/or Dalcroze certification/s preferred
- Confident and good in singing
- With dance background preferred
- Outgoing personality
- Exercise creativity in conducting interesting lessons for children
- Open to work on weekends
