- Manage and maintain fixed asset records in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Perform monthly fixed asset reconciliations and ensure accuracy of data
- Assist in the preparation of fixed asset schedules for financial reporting purposes
- Conduct physical asset counts and reconcile to the fixed asset register
- Work closely with various departments to ensure accuracy of fixed asset data
- Assist in the implementation of fixed asset policies and procedures
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members on fixed asset matters
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors as required
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA/ ACCA or similar qualification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in fixed asset accounting
- Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in SAP, ERP (any), MS Excel and accounting software will be an added advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
