Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Enrolled Nurse:
- Comply with approved Nursing SOPs.
- Work with multidisciplinary team to analyze and evaluate nursing care plan and ensure care plan is implemented by team.
- Identify symptoms of clients related to illness or decline in functional/cognitive abilities and advocate early attention.
- Mentor and guide, NAs and HCAs in performing their functional duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist client to manage common age-related conditions such as incontinence and loss of mobility.
- Assist Registered Nurse as when required.
- Other additional operational duties as assigned by Centre Manager.
HCA :
- Help in seniors' personal hygiene including bathing and changing of diapers.
- Assist client in showering, ambulation/exercise, and toileting.
- Assist and faciliate in activities with seniors.
- Support therapists with intervention for seniors.
- Assist nurses for taking clients’ vital signs.
- Perform transport escort duty and responsible for seniors safety during transport.
- Report to superior if any abnormality observed.
- Conduct activities with clients.
- Kitchen duties which involve simple food preparation.
- Disinfect and clean Centre and equipment.
- Assist Enrolled Nurse / Registered Nurse as when required.
- Upholds and practice high standards in the care for clients set by the Centre Manager.
- Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Centre Manager.
Education & Experience:
- Nitec in Nursing / GCE 'O' / 'N' Level / WSQ certified with 1 or 2 years relevant experience will be an advantage.or equivalent
- Registered with SNB
- Experience working in an elderly setting is an advantage
