Core Application System Developer

Job Requirements

1. Sound experience in Life Insurance industry
2. At least 3 years hands-on coding experience in SMART 400 on AS400
3. Knowledge of both Life-400 and Group-400 will be an added advantage
4. Fluent in English spoken and written language as primary business language
5. Meticulous and highly accurate in performing coding and documentation
6. Systematic in keeping track of time spent on projects assigned

Job Responsibilities

1. Support Production system of our client
2. Program enhancements/developments related to Life Asia and/or group 400 system
3. Able to interact and coordinate efficiently with other IT Sections and within Core Application Team itself
4. Liaise with Web Application Team on Front-end applications on inter-related projects
5. Perform system analysis, design and system unit/integration testing
6. Prepare/update Technical Specifications and end user system job instructions documents
7. Liaise with external parties pertaining to system collaboration and system testing
8. Observe, maintain and comply with the KPIs, work instructions, guidelines, security controls, audit controls and governance set
9. Ensure quality deliverables, documentation and reporting for work assigned and performed
