Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Radio Access Network (RAN) manager
- Implementation of RAN and wireless backhaul solutions.
- Responsible in ensure installation and safety standards for all RAN deployment in the network.
- Supervise and review all installation works done by contractor to ensure good installation quality.
- Preparing RAN integration scripts and performing integration of wireless base stations and other RAN related equipment.
- Responsible to perform UE testing on pre-launch devices and new RAN equipment to verify functionality and network compatibility.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on RAN related equipment
- Providing technical support for fault troubleshooting, replace and return of faulty equipment
- Prepare test cases for UE and RAN equipment testing.
- Liaising with vendors to resolve technical issues that arise during testing phase.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer science/IT and networking or equivalent
- Preferred 1 – 2 years in wireless telecommunication network industry, fresh graduates is welcome to apply.
- Preferred knowledge in 5G/LTE/Wi-Fi protocol, IP networking, radio signaling, air interface, call processing technologies and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network.
- Proficient in MS office products like Outlook, Excel & Word
- Good interpersonal & analytical skills
- Positive work attitude, independent and able to work under pressure.
- Collaborative mindset, strong team player to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Preferred candidate to possess Class 3 driving license
- May be required to support ad-hoc tasks outside regular business hours on as-needed basis.
