This role will be responsible for managing the Storage Infrastructure in On-premises and Private Cloud.
Responsible for administration and troubleshooting of storage systems.
Provisioning and configuration of NAS, SAN and Object storage.
Ensure data redundancy, disaster recovery, data availability and business continuity for the storage systems.
Mandatory skills:
NetApp (Cluster Mode and 7-Mode),Pure Storage,HP 3PAR/Primera, HP XP7/XP8,Dell Isilon,Brocade SAN Fabric,NetBackup Object storage (NetApp StorageGrid)
Essential Skills:
Good exposure on NetApp C-Dot and 7-Mode operating system.
Work on SP reboot, Disk firmware, SP firmware, shelf firmware and ONTAP upgrades.
Knowledge of Netapp and Isilon Snapshots, Snapmirror, Sync IQ.
Experience in handling CIFS, NFS, multiprotocol file share management, provisioning, decommission, permission management.
Experience in storage administration HP 3PAR and Primera SAN storages on HP Storeserv 8000 series and A630/A650.
Having good experience on 3PAR Virtual copy, Physical copy and Remote copy.
Allocating storage to Windows, Linux and VMware hosts from HP 3PAR and Primera storages using 3PAR Management console and 3PAR SSMC.
HP XP-series (XP7 and XP8) storage configuration and administration experience.
Hands-on experience with LUN and volume management, data replication, cache partitioning, thin provisioning.
Experience in storage administration Pure SAN storage.
Good knowledge on Brocade SAN switches, zoning, troubleshooting, firmware upgarde.
Good experience in Storage reclamation and Decommission tasks.
Experience in Storage migration.
Management of NetBackup and Media Agent.
Good troubleshooting skills for backup and tape library hardware failure.
Storage policy creation for FS, Oracle, SQL, Exchange and VMware backups (VSA) & DR.
Attending stake holders con-call and on-call support.
Good experience of Vendor Management, vendor escalations and vendor service management.
Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and tasks.
Good knowledge in ITIL framework on Incident, Problem, Change management & Service request management.
Knowledge of ServiceNow tool.
