Introduction
Mathlete Training Centre is a Maths Olympiad training centre that imparts mathematical know-hows to our students. We aim to develop a positive learning attitude in our students by creating and maintaining a positive classroom environment, as well as instil values such as perseverance and commitment. We are rather adaptable in the face of uncertainty. Both online and face-to-face lessons are conducted in our training centre.
Our ideal candidate
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher to join our team and teach Lower Primary Maths Olympiad to our students. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Mathematics and experience in teaching primary school children.
Responsibilities
- Conduct lessons for Lower Primary students taking Math Olympiad
- Plan and execute lesson plans and activities that is both engaging and challenging for students
- Assess and evaluate student's progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student's progress and any concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics to primary school children.
- Knowledge of Maths Olympiad curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Working hours
- 1pm - 8:30pm on weekdays and 8:30am - 6pm on weekends, 5 days work week.
- One free meal a day provided.
We are located in Bishan Ang Mo Kio area, and prefer candidates from nearby areas.
