What a Business Operations Analyst does in HP:
• Strategically drives a broad range of complex supply chain processes, which may include import/export operations, typically for large and complex global business units.
• Independently executes complex demand and supply matching activities at the highest level, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
• Leads cross-functional global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
• Defines, measures, and leverages KPIs to drive continuous improvement in business operations and converts recommendations into compelling new business plans.
• Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
• Communicates requirements and guidelines to the global business unit planning teams.
• Works with managers to ensure alignment with global goals and objectives and develops and coordinates efforts for reporting and tracking.
• Facilitates and manages internal team and leadership meetings to drive business operation plans.
• Evaluates, updates, and improves business processes to maintain compliance with regulations and client guidelines.
• Provides mentorship and coaching to junior-level staff employees to ensure professional development.
Individuals who will do well in this role in HP, usually possess:
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 8+ years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
• Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations) preferred.
