Specializing in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of container spreaders and general handling equipment for ports, they cater primarily to container terminal operators worldwide. With a global presence, their products are utilized in over 50 countries across 5 continents, with approximately 5,000 of their spreaders currently in operation across 300 terminals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Invoice Processing and Documentation Handling:
- Process invoices efficicently
- Manage required shipping documentations.
- Ensure timely sending or uploading of documents to customers
2. LC Presentation and BG Issuances:
- Handle LC presentation and related tasks.
- Manage Bank Guarantee (BG) issuance and associated issues.
3. Accounts Receivable Management:
- Follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Process receipts promptly
- Atrtend to customers requests related to accounts receivable.
4. Accounts Payable Management:
- Receive and process suppliers' invoices.
- Prepare payments accurately.
- Address suppliers' requests concerning accounts payable.
5. Bank Books Reconciliation:
- Maintain and reconcile bank books or registers regularly
6. Fixed Assets Register Maintenance:
- Manage fixed assets registers.
- Maintain other schedules of accounts as required.
7. Staff Claims Processing:
- Process staff claims accurately and promptly
- Ensure monthly transactions records are correct.
8. Monthly Accounts for Closure Support
- Provide prompt assistance to ensure the timely closure of monthly accounts.
9. Quarterly GST Rerporting:
- Responsible for quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) reportiing.
10. Assistant Audit and Compliance Support:
- Assist in the annual external audit process
- Support tax and other related compliance requirements}
11. Ad-hoc Adminstrative Duties:
- Perform administrative task and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

B. Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting and relevant experience.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in Goods and Services Tax (GST) procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel is an advantage.
