- Minimum 10 years of solid experience in handling heavy machinery including turning, milling, and coring, including setup tools on Lathe and Milling machines.
- Operate in a high-performance work environment as a member of various teams leading efforts to improve operations-related systems (safety, quality, continuous improvement, personnel, and supply chain).
- Plan machining work by studying work orders, prints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
- Able to troubleshoot and rework machine parts when needed.
- Press set up and operation - tooling installation, removal, cleaning and adjustments, resin selection, fill hopper and monitoring, material handling, process documentation.
- Sintering & tumbling- cycle selection and verification, purge-gas flow, oven operation, oven cycle documentation. Tumbler and media selection, plus material handling of parts.
- Final inspection - verification of part dimensions, final release sign-off.
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- The ability to work safely and follow 5S requirements is a must.
- Reduce costs, manage delivery schedules, and perform risk analysis to improve overall profitability
- Reduce corporate risk by managing shrink processes and controlling inventory levels.
