Service Sales Engineer - BMS

Our client is a world leader in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning) equipment & systems, services & solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a set of accounts, employing an account management process to pinpoint key customers and devise tailored plans for advancing these accounts.
  • Identify potential solutions necessary to meet customer requirements, collaborating closely with the Technical Support Team to ensure these options are accessible to customers.
  • Spot potential opportunities with both current and prospective customers, and keep them updated on Service Value Added Offerings.
  • Spot sales prospects, craft detailed proposals, and orchestrate various processes to guarantee a high level of customer contentment, fostering enduring relationships.
  • Address customer grievances by investigating issues with internal stakeholders, internally evaluating potential solutions, and providing recommendations to customers.
  • Coordinate routine Service Reviews with customers and Operations teams to discuss ongoing projects and tackle pressing issues.
  • Comprehend customer and vertical market demands to determine suitable pricing and selling strategies.
  • Draft and review contract terms and conditions.
  • Deliver presentations of proposals to customers.
  • Undertake any other pertinent duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Diploma program, progressing to a Bachelor's degree in engineering, coupled with a minimum of 2 years of pertinent sales experience.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, Chiller Plants, Airside solutions, Energy Services, and Building Services would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting engineering documents. Demonstrated capability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints, as well as to comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Capacity to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and derive sound conclusions.
  • Motivated to exceed customer expectations by providing options and solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Open to acquiring new knowledge and enhancing skills to better serve customers and adapt to evolving offerings.
