Job Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in related discipline such as Maritime or shipping related studies.
• 2 to 3 year’s relevant experience in post-fixture in ship operator or chartering business.
• Customer focused and good communication skill to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Organized and proactive.

Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Work closely and assist chartering manager on all breakbulk/mini bulk chartering, and closely liaise with relevant counterparts (both internal & external) to ensure fixtures are executed according to Charter Party Clauses.
• Handle 2 internal pulp carrier and develop operation skills to take up more responsibility.
Breakbulk post fixture
• Monitor ship movement and update to relevant parties.
• Assist in-house shipper on obtaining ship information, document, BL & invoices.
• Arrange Payment and LOI when required.
• Assist in solving disputes on cargo damage, detention or other incidents.
• Liaise with post-fixture/accounting team to ensure accurate laytime calculation and freight payment.
• File documents and enter relevant data into shipnet.
• Obtain KYC approval for new vendors and update vendor list.
Vessel operation
• Voyage planning (include bunker plan), according to internal client’s instruction.
• Liaise with port, port agent and super cargo to ensure proper stowage planning and sound cargo operations.
• Liaise with master to ensure safe sailing and sound delivery of cargo.
• Liaise with post-fixture/accounting team to ensure on time documents issuance, laytime calculation and freight payment.
• Enter voyage details into shipnet on timely manner.
Adhoc analysis and assist on going group expansion projects.
