Generally, the RTO shall be registered and maintain registration with IES throughout his or her service; and shall be responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and reporting in a well-coordinated manner to ensure the contractor’s proper execution of works under the R&R contract.
(I) Regularly inspect and supervise contractors’ works and tests (if any) in accordance with specifications/technical requirements as set out in the R&R contract.
(II) Check and ensure all materials, construction and/or installations are in accordance with approved documents such as drawings, samples, and method statements.
(III) Keep quality and contemporaneous records of all works (showing progress photographs, the quantity of works, works arising from variation orders etc.) for monitoring and submitting reports as follows.
a. RTO site diary (to be submitted by 6pm daily),
b. Fortnight reports (once every 2 weeks),
c. Monthly reports (by end of each calendar month),
d. Incident reports.
(IV) To issue RTO Site Memos, on any deviations or non-compliant works observed to be carried out by the R&R contractor.
(V) Submit all required documents and reports via email or other electronic means (as may be decided by VBF) by stipulated time frame.
(VI) To attend to and handle all related feedbacks (including occupants’ feedbacks) onsite and keep a logbook of date and time of feedbacks and follow ups actions for closure of feedbacks.
(VII) Attend all meetings.
Working hours (on-site)
(I) 9.00am to 6.00pm (Mon to Fri) with 1 hour Lunch break, and 9.00am to 1.00pm (Sat)
(II) Leave – 7 days prorated accordingly per annum.
(III) MC – 14 days and including hospitalisation leave up to 60 days according to MOM
Termination notice
(I) 1 Month or otherwise stated.
