Responsibilities:
- Key contact with Global Procurement Team to achieve greater synergy through global procurement network.
- Lead in sourcing and negotiation activities during RFQ, NPI or NPR, contract reviews.
- Drive Suppliers’ Management and Development Program to build strong suppliers’ relationship and develop suppliers to support company’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Operations/Suppliers to support in purchase of goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, ensure price, quality and delivery meet targets and ensure continuity of supply.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
- Process PR/PO through SAP daily.
Requirements:
- Degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain or Engineering Degree or its equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years purchasing experience in fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in ERP or a fully integrated manufacturing system, SAP/ Oracle experience will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Independent, resourceful, and with good interpersonal and communication skills
