JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain all machines, equipment, apparatus and fixtures in the Hotel
- Responsible for the activities performed during work shift, paying particular attention to maintenance jobs, services breakdown and the supply of all utilities.
- To carry out service works assigned by maintenance request system (Stay Please) and ensure that works are in accordance with procedures on maintenance and repairs set by the department.
- Ensure that the operation conditions of engineering installations such as air-conditioning system, hot water heaters, cold rooms, electrical switchboards, water tank and utility consumption etc. are being monitored and logged in Daily Operation Checklist on each shift.
- Log down all activities including service breakdowns that occur during his shift and submit report to the Assistant Chief Engineer/Chief Engineer.
- Comply with all Singapore Authorities Safety Work regulations and practices during work day.
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by Duty Engineer, Service Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer and/or Chief Engineer as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- NITEC in an Engineering related field or GCE “O” levels
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Sound knowledge of engineering services in a hotel environment
- Good command of English.
