about the job
- Monitor and analyze customer transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.
- Conduct investigations into flagged transactions, analyzing customer account activity and associated documentation.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of AML policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as risk management, legal and internal audit, to address AML-related issues and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of AML activities, investigations, and reports.
- Stay updated on changes in AML laws and regulations and ensure the bank's policies are in compliance.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Banking / Business Studies.
- At least 1 year of compliance experience within the financial industry.
- Good knowledge of laws, regulations and industry best practices.
