As a Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in advising our clients on strategies to improve their overall business performance, enhance their brand visibility, and optimize their marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will specialize in providing Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) SME Business Grant support, understanding SME business needs, and matching them with relevant business grants to drive growth and enhance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth consultations with SME clients to understand their business challenges, needs, and objectives.
- Provide expert advice on the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) and other relevant SME business grants, including but not limited to:
- Strategic Brand & Marketing Development
- Business Strategy Development
- Human Capital Development
- Service Excellence
- Innovation & Productivity
- Product Development
- Process Redesign
- Automation
- Overseas Market Access
- Overseas Marketing (now known as Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) Grant)
- Match SMEs with suitable grants that align with their business needs and goals, ensuring a strategic approach to funding and development.
- Assist clients in the grant application process, including proposal writing, compliance checks, and submission requirements.
- Stay updated on changes to grant policies, new funding opportunities, and industry trends to provide the most current and effective advice.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and partner in their growth journey.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive support structure for clients.
Qualifications:
- Min. Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Branding, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Has experience as a Business Consultant, with specific expertise in SME business grants and funding mechanisms.
- Deep understanding of SME business operations, challenges, and development strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the EDG and other business grants, including eligibility criteria, application processes, and strategic utilization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze business models and financial statements to recommend appropriate grant support.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
