We are looking for a passionate Lead Software Engineer with strong experience in Point of Sales (POS) development. Experience on key management systems with Hardware Security Module (HSM) is an added advantage. Your primary responsibilities includes engaging business stakeholders to gather user requirements, develop technical specification documents, participate in solution design and also leading a team of POS developers in delivering new functions and features on POS terminal solutions to facilitate secure payment transactions. The ideal candidate shall demonstrate strong application development capabilities using C for developing on embedded systems and also development capabilities on Android platform with subject matter expertise on payment solution development.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain payment solutions for POS terminal application and key management systems.
- Lead a team of POS developers in delivering clean, efficient and secure code based on technical specification and International Card Schemes requirements.
- Collaborate across different teams such as QA engineers, certification team, operation and business users for system integration, SDLC activities and BAU support.
- Engage and collaborate with external partners for application integration and project support.
- Develop technical specification documentation to accurately represent application design and code.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Technology disciplines
- At least 8 years programming experience on embedded POS devices with 5 years of development in C and 3 years of development on Android platform.
- Expert knowledge on EMV contact and contactless, ISO8583 message protocol and strong knowledge on cryptography algorithms such as 3DES, RSA, AES or DUKPT are mandatory.
- Experience with HSM modules development such as ProtectServer HSM is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems firmware, API-based coding techniques, IP protocols, RS232 interfaces and hardware subsystems
