Job Description
The Nutrition Support Service clinical coordinator provides the following care services:
- Care coordination, education and management of home parenteral nutrition (HPN) and enteral tube feeding.
- Clinical care and support to encourage full rehabilitation of patients on both HPN and enteral feeding under NSS and also responsible for coordinating their follow up care.
- Counselling to patients and their families on both home parenteral and enteral feeding process.
- Ordering and basic interpretation of diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Ordering appropriate treatments and non-pharmacologic therapies according to hospital protocols.
- Participate in data collection, research and community outreach activities
Job requirements:
- Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Life/Health Sciences; or
- Advanced Diploma in Nursing, Psychology, Life/Health Sciences with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or
- Diploma in Nursing, Psychology, Life/Health Sciences with at least 3 years of relevant experience;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel
- Good verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in healthcare setting would be an added advantage
- A team-player capable of working with various stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills with initiative, pleasant disposition and ability to work independently
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
