Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Director of Operations (Collections) who is enthusiastic about making a difference in an ever-growing organization and always hungry for growth!
Responsibilities
Operations:
- Oversee and lead overall operations to ensure the monthly collection targets are met.
- Implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both outsourced and in-house collection processes, aligning them with operational requirements and direction.
- Review monthly performance, provide recommendations to the Senior Management, and set effective collection strategies to achieve the company's monthly targets and ensure continuous improvement of the recovery rate.
- Collaborate closely with other teams, regional offices, and country offices to learn best practices and support the integration of risk management.
- Utilize historical data to forecast future collections.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the industry, including understanding challenges and opportunities in the sector.
- Strive to meet each client's requirements and exceed expectations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle complaints effectively to maintain good relationships with all stakeholders.
- Optimize costs while enhancing revenue.
- Source and build relationships with other stakeholders and potential business partners.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management.
- Experience working within a Collections Agency is an advantage.
People:
- Align the right people with the appropriate duties and maintain their motivation and engagement.
- Delegate tasks and provide continuous support and encouragement to the team for their ongoing development.
- Working with Countries to improve the performance of the collectors and ensure all collectors meet their scorecard
- Quality monitoring.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or related fields from a reputable institution.
- 7-10 years of relevant Collections experience as Head of Operations or in a similar role, preferably within the financial industry, Asset Management, or Collection Agency.
- Superior knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines, along with solid knowledge of business functions and data analytics.
- Familiarity with Collections reporting, including experience in analyzing and presenting findings to the business,as well as tracking and disseminating key data.
- Proven track record of managing a successful team of more than 100 members and possessing excellent organizational and leadership qualities.
- Curious, driven, and committed to bringing innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strategic thinker with a "can-do" attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on execution capabilities.
