Responsibilities:
- Creating new products in line with the company’s direction.
- Negotiating rates with local operators, including exclusive arrangements and service agreements.
- Continuously review and research the market (sales / competitor) and make adjustment recommendations accordingly to ensure product saleability.
- Work closely with local operators in terms of creating new itineraries and recommendations within the destination for exclusivity.
- Work closely with Operations for each new launch to review the operational instructions ensuring smooth operation.
- Ensure related budgeting, operation instructions, sales kit, platform are all updated according to latest pricelist as approved by management.
- Attend travel trade shows and industry related functions as necessary to continually research & develop products and relationships.
- Work with the Sales team to provide product briefing and relevant product sales instructions. Educate sales team on term basis to better manage margins.
Requirements:
- At least 2-5 years in Travel Agency, OTAs handling product management.
- Ability to multitask and take on the role both as a product manager and product educator.
- Proficient in speaking and typing English and Chinese.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Incumbent with prior experience is preferred.
