We are currently assisting our client, part of a global technology and engineering group, look for a Senior RF Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed design and analysis through simulation of sub-circuits such as: transitions, amplifiers, filters, couplers, mixers, PLL, signal detection, etc.
- Test and evaluate sub-circuits design
- Mechanical design consideration for efficient integration and optimization for manufacturability
- Development of testing methods and systems
- Supporting transition from prototype designs into manufacturing
- Supporting EMI / EMC testing
- Product cost awareness & Interaction with vendors and customers, where appropriate
- Continuous search of new RF solutions and technologies
- Design, Test and Integration of RF Modules into Spacecraft
- Launch and Early Orbit Support of the Spacecraft
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus in RF or radio communication.
- Passion in Space, RF or radio design and communication
- Understanding of RF components such as LNA, HPA, hybrid couplers, Wilkinson dividers, waveguide, circulators, and directional couplers
- Knowledge of EMI / EMC, digital communication systems and modulation types
- Understanding of RF concepts such as AGC, noise figure, power amplifier, phase noise, PLL, oscillators/mixers
- Knowledge of ADS, CST, MATLAB, Python or equivalent tools for design, modelling and analysing of RF systems
