K+S Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is the sales and marketing platform of K+S for the APAC region. With the complete range of tailor-made products and services of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH K+S Asia Pacific offers agriculture and industry a product portfolio that meets customer needs. Our product portfolio includes a wide range of different potassium and magnesium fertilizers as well as potassium, magnesium and sodium chloride salts for industrial, food, feed and pharmaceutical applications.
K+S Asia Pacific was established in Singapore more than 50 years ago as a marketing and sales service provider for K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH (headquartered in Kassel, Germany), with the aim of better serving APAC customers, establishing closer partner relationships and developing new regional initiatives.
Working with an international raw material company the Sales and Marketing Manager will join the regional office in Singapore. With a pure commercial mindset and significant experience in B2B sales the main purpose of this function is to develop and optimize K+S’ product sales within the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and expand the business in the assigned region.
· Maintaining and developing the existing customer portfolio.
· Negotiating commercial deals to achieve successful supply to your customers with optimal results.
· Managing the full order to delivery process supported by the back office to create the best service to your customers.
· Responsibility for a sales volume and a price planning in the assigned region.
· Interface to Head Quarters in Germany regarding customers matters.
· Professional reporting to the management and Head Quarter.
Key Requirements
· Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, chemistry, engineering, natural science or similar major.
· Significant experience in B2B sales of technical products/solutions in the commodities, chemical or industrial sector. Experience in fertilizer or food & feed industry will be highly appreciated.
· Experience in APAC sales management will be beneficial.
· Good knowledge of MS Office applications, Outlook, SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP S4 HANA and C4C or any other similar solutions.
· Availability to travel up to 30% of the time within the APAC region.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Self-starter with a high level of motivation.
