Operational Risk Specialist, Digital Payments
A FinTech specialising in digital payments is actively recruiting an Operational Risk Manager for the Group Risk Team. The hiring manager would like to meet junior risk managers with 2+ years if experience in banking/financial services audit/consulting (eg Big 4) with exposure to internal controls and enterprise risk management for FS clients. This is an excellent opportunity to enter payments and kickstart a career in operational risk management.
Duties:
- Monitor risk across the organization
- Perform risk assessments and assurance reviews
- Help develop, review and provide advice to business units on risk frameworks, policies and processes
- Advise management, business and functions on risk control improvements
- Assist review effectiveness Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
- Independent review and testing of controls
- Monitor control/risk remediation action plans
- Define, update and monitor risk thresholds, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and risk dashboards
- Conduct risk training
- Drive a risk aware culture
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in auditing, assurance, controls or enterprise/operational risk
- Financial services clients/exposure a must (retail banking, insurance, payments, etc)
Compensation:
To $6kpm.
