about the role
Reporting to the head of finance, you will be responsible for the revenue and credit controlling function of the organization. You will be working closely with the partners to discuss and review their AR balances. You will monitor the AR closely and correct any errors or discrepancies in a timely manner. You will ensure any write offs and transfers promptly. You will review all the aged AR and prepare action plans to aid timely collection. You will also assist in chasing the amount due. You will escalate the uncollected amounts to the partners and assist with necessary legal actions. You will also manage the debt provision reports and control checks.
skills and experience required
You should ideally possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a professional services environment. You are strong in communication and able to provide exceptional client service. You have strong commercial awareness and financial aptitude. You are able to work under pressure. You are detail oriented and able to work independently.
