Position
Overview: The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Risk and Finance applications used by worldwide users. Among others, it includes Credit Approval & Counterparty Risk IT
The section handles applications responsible for risk data collection, risk calculation and monitoring for CACIB worldwide.
It also covers Front Office Applications, Credit Decision Processing tool, Global Authorization Repository system and Default History Data Base. The applications are all in-house developments.
Main responsibilities
Functional
- Good knowledge in Risk area like Deals, Authorization, Guarantees, Risk Weighted Assets, etc.
- Hands on experience on various Risk Reporting. Should have worked on data mapping and testing of such risk data.
- Analyze and assess business functional specifications; recommend amendments to maximize efficiency and improve business value.
- Proficient in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional & System Integration testing of banking and financial applications
- Manage the change requests during the implementation stage in coordination with sponsors, project managers and technical teams
- Ensure the daily follow up for the implementation of the solution with the developers and provide clarifications when necessary
- Manage L3 support to ensure application stability and work closely with L1/L2 support team & business line on resolution in support issues.
Qualifications and Profile
- This position requires a minimum of 4-6 years’ relevant experiences as a business analyst.
Other Professional Skills and Mindset
- Knowledge of Counterparty Risk
- Experience in data centric applications
- Hands on with SQL
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of project management and software development lifecycle would be a plus
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Very good oral and written communication skills
- Fast reacting and autonomous, with a problem solving orientation
- Knowledge of Scrum, & automation testing tools would be an added advantage
