Position Summary / Project Description:
Our client is a prominent healthtech company seeks a versatile and adaptable individual to join their ranks. As a part of the accounting operations team, this person will be responsible for managing the business as usual (BAU) accounting operations and to review, streamline and enhance current processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
· Manage and oversee shared services provider.
· Ensure timely processing of payments and invoices as well as corresponding recovery of these costs.
Governance, Compliance, and Internal Controls
· Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies and regulations.
· Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance, to prevent fraud and safeguard company assets.
· Coordinate and liaise with both internal and external audits to ensure compliance according to financial regulations and reporting standards.
· Review, enhance and improve corporate operating policy.
Financial Process, Process Improvement and Documentation
· Develop, implement, and manage effective financial workflows and processes.
· Streamline financial operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· Standardize and digitalize operations.
Requirements / Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Proven experience leading transformation or streamlining of processes.
· Experience utilizing technology such as excel, power BI, ERP systems to improve efficiency.
· Able to manage and cope well in a fast-changing environment.
· Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as SAP ERP systems and MS Office.
· Experience in dashboarding tool and other data analysis programs would be a plus.
