Job Description
Prepare and analyse the monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages, and annual financial statements under the financial reporting standards to ensure accuracy and completeness
Lead financial review including monthly financial and quarterly business reviews, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analytics
Involve in daily analysis of trade flows or transactions and be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with commodity trading and accounting standards and other compliance requirements
Establish and/or enhance internal control and processes within accounting function, including developing and/or maintaining accounting manual and policies
Identify opportunities for process and controls improvements and execute them to raise operational efficiency and enhance the quality of financial reporting
Manage and support audit and review process by external auditors, internal control/audit team
Manage company's fund and ensure the overall company’s goals and objectives are achieved
Requirements
Possess a Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant or its equivalents)
At least 10 years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in a commodity trading company experience in audit of commodity trading firm desired
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
Bilingual in both spoken and written English & Chinese languages as this position is the key financial person to deal with colleagues in our China headquarter and offices
Able to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
