Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer, ideally with Data Centre experience, to work as part of a team on technically challenging projects.
As a fast-paced, growing business; this role will be responsible for contributing to projects to deliver excellent service levels to clients and assisting in the ongoing development and growth of the business, whilst providing sound technical, design support.
We’re looking for an experienced engineering professional to provide sound technical design support on mechanical building services engineering disciplines, ensuring project requirements and clients’ specifications are fully met.
Key responsibilities will also include –
Contributing to the team to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives, including providing technical support.
- Working with other Engineers and project teams to ensure quality and timely operation delivery for clients.
- Compiling specifications, drawings and relevant Contract documents and maintaining the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
- The contribution of elements and components of projects from concept design through to completion, executing building services engineering activities within the budget and schedule, whilst maintaining technical integrity.
- Providing mechanical building engineering services design to buildings and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have –
- A relevant degree in mechanical building services engineering, or equivalent qualification or sufficient suitable experience.
- The ability to demonstrate extensive experience in a wide range of technical areas.
- Sound level of knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
- Desirable experience of Data Centres.
- An appreciation of complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering and computer modelling in the design of buildings.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
- Computer literate including Autocad, REVIT, Navisworks, IES, Hevacomp, CFD software and Microsoft Office.
