Responsibilities
- Plans, organises and directs investigations into security-related cases, whistleblowing, cross functional cases, compliance and ethics cases
- Supports and advises other investigating functions globally within the company
- Leads a team of investigation officers to ensure cases are analyses, investigated and reported in a concise yet rigorous manner
- Leads the team to ensure case files are properly presented, compiled and filed
- Identifies key stakeholders; leads engagement and collaboration with them key to proactively future proof the company against crime and other security incidents
- Monitors closely the crime trend, crime patterns and collates all security-related information for dissemination to create awareness and prevent occurrence. Work with training team to refresh crime prevention awareness monthly
- Prepares and consolidates monthly reports on cases, highlighting case status and action plans for crime prevention
- Attends security incident or special assignment on board vessel when required
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned by GM Security
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in any field
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience in a managerial capacity in investigations, with focus on corporate, compliance or commercial crime will be an advantage
- Possess valid PLRD Private Investigator License
- Familiar with local prosecution procedures
- Good interview and report writing skills
- Able to command a crime scene
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently
- Physically fit to perform checks and inspection on personnel, documents, cargo, surveillance materials and mount operations
- Possess good leadership qualities, managerial, decision-making and inter-personal skills
