· Assist line managers with recruitment and selection process
· Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation
· Nurture a positive working environment
· Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
· Assess training needs by evaluating strengths and weakness of employees (after appraisal)
· Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for successful career progression
· Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employee work behaviour
· Report to management and provide decision support through HR and Training metrics
· Ensure all recruitment and employment is carried out in accordance to company procedure and in compliance with current employment law.
· Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

· Excellent analytical, active listening, negotiation, presentation and organisational skills
· People oriented and results driven
· Fluency in written and verbal English
· Proficient in written and verbal Mandarin and/or Malay
· Demonstrated ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of an organisation
· Familiarity with talent management
· Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers
