- Plan and develop art programmes and lesson plans for assigned student age group, with emphasis on learning traditional art from various cultures
- Manage, train, and support junior art instructors
- Create positive and engaging classroom environment that is conducive for learning and developing creativity
- Monitor the individual progress of students, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement
- Maintain and secure safekeeping of art files, artworks and portfolios of students
- Train students in the fundamental and technical skills to prepare them for admittance in recognized art schools locally and overseas
- Help out in activities, events and other ad-hoc projects
- Support the administration in running the art classes in an effective manner
- Proficient in Japanese language in oral and written form would be a plus
