Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct preconfiguration and staging of network equipment.
- Perform onsite deployment and implementation of various network components such as ONT, routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless APs, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with customers to validate system functionality.
- Provide onsite troubleshooting support during deployment to address any technical issues that may arise.
- Offer technical insights and guidance to the project management team for effective issue resolution.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including User Acceptance Test (UAT) reports, Site Acquisition Reports, and Site Survey Reports featuring network diagrams.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a minimum Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology or hold certifications such as CCNA/CCNP.
- Additional certifications in Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, or Juniper are advantageous.
- Accumulate at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in deploying WAN/LAN/WLAN network equipment from various providers including Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, and Fortinet.
- Availability for onsite deployment support outside of regular office hours.
- Strong grasp of networking principles encompassing routing and switching.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Experience with conducting site surveys and contributing to network design is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with fibre optics, cross-connects, or data center connectivity is a plus.
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to be on standby duty when necessary.
