About the Role
As a Landscape Architect you’ll be responsible for undertaking aspects of project design and development through given assignments, liaising and coordinating with key stakeholders as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
- Deliver high quality concept designs and detailed packages that demonstrate developed technical and/or design skills.
- Manage third parties according to the parameters of the project.
Team Membership
- Act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities.
- Support company-wide initiatives and proactively seek feedback.
Client Relationships
- Respond positively towards clients and consultants.
- Provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required.
Budget Control
- Recognise the importance of the project budget and seeks to develop their knowledge of project financials.
About You
- 3-5 years of experience (applicants with below 3 years’ experience can apply as Junior Landscape Architect);
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from reputable University;
- Good creative flair and imagination;
- Excellent graphics, strong design and communication skills are essential. Experience with landscape diagrams, landscape layouts and sections as well as 3D models;
- Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and problem solving;
- Inquisitive and a good listener;
- Act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities;
- Respond positively towards clients and consultants;
- Provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator), AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). Knowledge of Revit would be a plus but not essential;
- Must be mature, well organized, confident and hardworking with a pleasant disposition and strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task;
- Quick learner with a high level of commitment will have an advantage;
- Strong knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and some experienced in Planting Design would be a plus;
- Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
