About the Role

As a Landscape Architect you’ll be responsible for undertaking aspects of project design and development through given assignments, liaising and coordinating with key stakeholders as necessary.


Key Responsibilities


Project Delivery

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
  • Deliver high quality concept designs and detailed packages that demonstrate developed technical and/or design skills.
  • Manage third parties according to the parameters of the project.


Team Membership

  • Act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities.
  • Support company-wide initiatives and proactively seek feedback.


Client Relationships

  • Respond positively towards clients and consultants.
  • Provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required.


Budget Control

  • Recognise the importance of the project budget and seeks to develop their knowledge of project financials.


About You

  • 3-5 years of experience (applicants with below 3 years’ experience can apply as Junior Landscape Architect);
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from reputable University;
  • Good creative flair and imagination;
  • Excellent graphics, strong design and communication skills are essential. Experience with landscape diagrams, landscape layouts and sections as well as 3D models;
  • Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and problem solving;
  • Inquisitive and a good listener;
  • Act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities;
  • Respond positively towards clients and consultants;
  • Provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator), AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). Knowledge of Revit would be a plus but not essential;
  • Must be mature, well organized, confident and hardworking with a pleasant disposition and strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task;
  • Quick learner with a high level of commitment will have an advantage;
  • Strong knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and some experienced in Planting Design would be a plus;
  • Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
