If you are looking for an opportunity in Project Engineering, Emerson has an excellent role for you! Based in Singapore, the Senior Project Engineer provides support to Sales, Project Managers and Customers by providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support. They will focus on the technical, commercial solutions, proposals, and subsequent execution of assigned complex Tier 2/3 PMO projects and ensure on time proposal submission, proper selection, sizing of instruments with high quality and on time delivery to ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Proposal Development Phase

· Provides pre-sales and post-sales technical support for MSOL products.

· Ensures selection of suitable instruments based on detailed customer specifications (RFQ Documents).

· Provides Instrumentation solutions based on the applications/data sheets.

· Leads a team of Engineers remotely as needed.

· Ensures the quality and timely submission of assigned project proposals.

· Able to handle multiple projects and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Able to effectively collaborate with multi-functional, multi-cultural teams.

Providing Support to Emerson Sales Offices for efficient and effective Project Execution

· Responsible for performing project from the receipt of order till delivery.

· Responsible for all engineering, selection of models, talking to customers on technical matters and get document approvals.

· Be part of change management process

· Provides technical support to the project administration team to clean customer purchase orders and assist in their entry onto Emerson business systems in a timely manner.

· Focal point to customer for all technical matters.

· Be responsible for finalizing model code according to customer specifications.

· Be responsible for selection of buyout products and also coordinating with suppliers on deviation & Clarifications.

· Works closely with internal customers of project and collaborating with other cross functions.

· Leads technical discussions and engineering status reviews with customers. You will support the Project Manager on assigned projects.

· Fulfills proper documentation requirements for orders based on Customer’s requests for both standard and customized requests.

· Addresses customer queries on priority (no delays) and able to plan complete execution according to project schedule.

· Possess complete knowledge on project management life cycle.

· Increases scope and profitability of projects and project schedule control, minimize project leakages (LD, Goodwill).

· Supports the Project Manager and implementation team in leading all contractual obligations throughout the complete project cycles.

· Acts as a Project Manager and lead until delivery for some of the assigned medium sized projects (Tier 2).

· Works with all key stakeholders, building business partnerships with personnel in the customer project team.

· Creates opportunity to increase project scope through best practice.

· Ensures relevant project technical knowledge is transferred to all internal partners, locally and globally, to successfully deliver the overall project to the customer.

· Promotes the use of Emerson corporate policies within the PMO project environment.

Who You Are:

You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. You quickly and decisively take action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations. You make significant progress and remain calm and composed, even when things are uncertain. You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in process instrumentation or a related industry

· Excellent teammate willing to provide exceptional services to exceed customer expectations.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

· Degree in Instrument / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering

· Prior experience as an Instrument & Controls engineer would be advantageous.

· Field Instruments Project Execution experience would be added advantage.
