Accounts
- Maintain full set of accounts
- Perform daily bookkeeping activities such as sales, purchases, receivables, payables
- Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and procedures are adhered to
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST filing and other tax compliances
- Prepare month-end, financial year-end closing, monthly balance sheet, P&L, bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit monthly CPF submissions
- Manage timely closing process and reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets; balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Manage the implementation and monitoring of the Fee Protection Scheme in the school
- Support and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Liaise with the corporate secretary on work such as resolution preparation, submission to ACRA, maintenance of various registers, etc
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and external parties to ensure relevant statutory compliance.
Admin/HR
- Support admin function for purchasing, report typing and invoicing
- Administer payroll, CPF & staff benefits
Others
- Other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the HOD
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy or any other relevant qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Independent, meticulous, and able to communicate effectively
- Proficient in MYOB, ABSS or other similar accounting software
- Prior experience in EduTrust PEIs and/or SSG Registered Training Providers will be a bonus
