Position Overview:CargoAI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead our HR and administrative functions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and executing our people strategy, driving employee engagement, and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes. Responsibilities:
- Human Resources Management:Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and create a positive work culture that fosters collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:Lead the recruitment process to attract top talent, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to making hiring decisions.
Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to support organizational growth and continuity.
Implement effective strategies for talent retention and career development.
- Administration and Facilities Management:Oversee administrative functions, including office management, facilities maintenance, procurement, and vendor management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Optimize administrative processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Manage budgets and expenditures for HR and administrative activities.
- Employee Relations and Compliance:Handle employee relations issues with tact and professionalism, fostering a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping policies and procedures up to date.
Conduct investigations and resolve employee grievances as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
