Our client is one of the leading players in the Semiconductor sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Procurement Manager to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East – easily accessible.
Responsibilities of Procurement Manager:
- Lead negotiations for the company’s various strategic partnerships, focusing on both support and pricing agreements
- Formulate/Execute procurement strategies aligned with the company’s objectives
- Source quotes for office/manufacturing-related raw materials and services, demonstrating expertise in recommending materials, grades, and composites
- Input and release purchase orders promptly, ensuring both accuracy and compliance with the necessary specifications
- Optimize the purchasing volume to minimize additional costs
- Monitor/Optimize inventory levels, preventing slow-moving stock and potential obsolescence
- Implement cost-saving measures, source for alternate suppliers, and lead cost reduction programs
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any relevant field
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of working experience in the Semiconductor industry
