Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety standards of work performed by subcontractors and laborers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory to support construction activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to address concerns and facilitate problem-solving.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, including training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in construction supervision or project coordination, preferably in commercial or residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
