Our client is a local company in Scientific and Medical industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Application Specialist to join their Sales Team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central area – easily accessible.
Duties of Application Specialist:
- Providing exceptional on-site application support to customers.
- Assisting sales personnel throughout the sales cycle with product knowledge and applications.
- Conducting product demonstrations and engaging in technical discussions.
- Proposing comprehensive solutions in relevant fields.
- Conducting application training, including technology presentations and hands-on sessions.
- Offering troubleshooting assistance for instruments, software, reagents, and experimental designs.
- Organizing user meetings, workshops, and seminars to update customers on products and support.
- Analyzing customer needs and matching them with appropriate products through scientific discussions.
- Connecting and integrating available or customized technologies to cater to customer requirements.
- Collaborating with the sales team to achieve collective growth targets.
- Preparing technical documents and reports for effective communication.
- Managing the demo lab and maintaining good laboratory practices.
Requirements:
- Master / PhD in Life Sciences or related disciplines
- 2 years of experience in operating and troubleshooting scientific equipment
