Responsibilities:
The IT Business Analyst is a key role responsible for overseeing the Infra Ops Team within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This position focuses on optimizing IT infrastructure operations, managing projects, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Infrastructure Operations Management:
- Lead and manage the Infra Ops Team to ensure smooth IT infrastructure operations across the APAC region
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and availability
Project Management:
- Manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements Analysis:
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to identify infrastructure needs
- Translate requirements into actionable plans and solutions
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure processes and workflows
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure services
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and agreements
Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure configurations, policies, and procedures
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and report on infrastructure performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure infrastructure operations comply with relevant regulations and security standards
- Implement security measures and protocols to protect infrastructure assets.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Infra Ops Team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Advanced certifications are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in IT infrastructure management and project leadership
- Proven track record of successfully managing infrastructure teams and projects in the APAC region
- Experience in AWS Cloud management for at least 3 years
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English, and knowledge of local languages within the APAC region is advantageous
- Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Expertise in IT infrastructure technologies, including networks, servers and storage
- Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management framework
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service-level agreement (SLA) management
