Local Financial Reporting, Taxation & Financial Management:
- Responsible for precise accounting records for the company's local operations.
- Manage tax filing tasks, encompassing corporate tax, GST, and withholding tax, to optimize tax provisions and streamline compliance.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors and tax agents to effectively address audit and tax-related concerns.
- Act as the primary contact for all tax inquiries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential tax risks.
- Enhance existing accounting processes, internal controls, and procedures for optimal efficiency and compliance.
- Review and validate daily payment requests.
- Fulfill other ad hoc tasks assigned by the finance manager.
Group-Level Financial Management:
- Coordinate and support group-wide activities, including group audits, tax compliance, transfer pricing, and the implementation of the IHQ program.
- Assist in streamline financial processes to meet the unique requirements of the IHQ incentive program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
- ACCA or CPA certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant financial work experience.
- Experience in Corporate Finance in multinational companies or large accounting firms is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to speak and write in Chinese as the incumbent requires to liaise with the China HQ counterparts/personnel for work or project related matters
- Strong resilience, open to end-of-month reconciliations/overtime when necessary.
