Position Description
Provides expertise, insight and support sales, marketing and cross-functional departments to sustain and acquire business while maintaining and developing customer loyalty in the region. Identifies product attributes necessary to expand into new markets, or capitalize on new clinical applications. Identifies new, product and market opportunities and performs other related duties as required. Manage functional marketing responsibilities of assigned products and lead strategic and tactical execution to maximize sales opportunities, drive competitive advantage and optimize financial performance.
Job Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of market and product strategies and tactical plans
• Conduct training and provide market insight to the distributors
• Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and key customers to identify
market/procedure trends and unmet product and service needs
• Develops and refines pricing strategy and competitive pricing, and market share analysis,
estimating potential profits
• Develop and implement communication strategies and execution plans to drive product awareness
and adoption in key markets
• Support both new product development and marketing efforts of existing product portfolio
• Support new product launch plans including developing professional education materials, sales
training and selling tools, and promotional activities
• Continuously monitor market needs and customer acceptance through customer visits, sales force contact, attendance at key congresses and meetings, and conducting primary and secondary market research
• Actively participate in sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sales and profitability of products, lines, or services. Analyze business developments and monitor market trends
• Analyze competitive products and incorporate competitive strategies into promotional and product development plans to maintain competitive advantages in the market
• Develop and monitor product forecasts in collaboration with sales and operations partners to optimize supply of products
• Partner with regional cross-functional colleagues and distributors to develop and execute marketing plans
• Actively contributes to identifying and pursuing new opportunities for new value creation
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Education and Experience
• Bachelor degree and 5+ years of experience in medical device field
• Catheter based interventional medical device experience; interventional cardiology, radiology,
and endovascular experience strongly desired
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skill as well as strong verbal and
written communication skills
• Ability to interpret and convey clinical data preferable
• Independent thinking and a high level of initiative and the ability to interact well with physician,
customers, and key opinion leaders are essential
• Good command of English language
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing project management and strategic
marketing and communication plans, including product launch plan
