Job Description & Requirements
- Manage all delivery scheduling functions for assigned store (s)
- Utilize system information and reports to identify deliverable orders
- Contact customer to schedule deliveries for all items that are currently available and in the warehouse
- Maintain delivery schedules based on outlined route list
- Maximize delivery trucks and routes based on schedules and ensure that delivery goals are met
- Run scheduling reports to ensure that the budgeted goal for deliveries is being met
- Suggest and participate in developing “special” routes to satisfy out-of-area customer deliveries
- Work closely with receiving specialist and inventory specialist on reschedules and product availability
- Call customers in advance of the actual delivery with three-hour delivery windows. Perform delivery confirmation telephone calls to customers Co-ordinating within internal department for changes in customers’ order
- Any ad-hoc admin duties
Requirements:
~ Min ‘O’ Level.
~ Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience.
~ Hardworking, meticulous and able to work independently.
~ Responsible & fast learner
~ Proficient in MS Office skills (Words & Excel)
~ Knowledge in ERP Software will be an added advantage.
~ Preferable able to start work immediately.
NOTE; DAYS AND HOURS OF WORK
Monday – Friday from 9.00am – 6.00pm and Alternate Saturday 9.00am to 6.00pm.
