Suntory Beverage & Food International (SBFI) is step changing its SAP system landscape across the globe and moving to a single instance strategy with a fit-to-standard approach to the functional design. As we transform to a more integrated One Suntory organisation, we would like to step change our technology platforms to be more integrated and consistently executed across all our markets. The SBFI S/4HANA Master Data Manager role is critical in helping to drive the standardisation of all key master data objects, in conjunction with our appointed System Integrator across all markets in Asia Pacific and Europe. The individual will also work across workstreams to continue to evolve the company’s best practices to ensure that the way master data is governed supports our dynamic business operating model. The role is both technically and business process oriented and requires strong hands-on skills and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver complex MDG transformation programmes using Central Finance as a stepping stone to full S/4HANA adoption.
Responsibilities
- Experience of implementing MDG solutions, ideally utilising either Syniti or SAP MDG technology.
- Work with the Global MDG lead as well as nominated representatives from each BU, to define the to-be strategy.
- Work as an integrated team member within the overall project team structure.
- Work with each BU to ensure that the MDG strategy is realised and that all BAU activities are embedded in each BU as per overall deployment timeline.
- Act as a point of contact between the IT organisation and the outsource provider to ensure SLAs are met.
- Focus on ensuring that all key master data objects are moved to a centralised delivery model without losing BU agility
- Contribute both internally & externally for all deliverables and day-to-day delivery for the MDG workstream.
- Work with stakeholders of the BUs to identify and opportunities for process improvement in the overall MDG workspace.
- Work with external vendors to drive standardisation of key data objects that can be implemented in accordance with the to-be MDG strategy.
- Align with existing team members to ensure that all deliverables are produced in accordance with quality standards.
- Act as a point of contact to ensure the continuous improvement of the MDG solution to meet evolving business requirements.
- Work as an integrated team member to highlight areas where there are variances or compliance deviations.
- Provide guidance on product functionality and on product selection for key capabilities and functionality to help realise the end-state system capabilities.
- Work with the MDG lead to develop the SBFI BAU operating model across the BUs.
Experiences
• 5 to 10 years of experience in an MDG role either in project delivery or as part of a team delivery BAU operations.
• The candidate will need to bring a detailed knowledge of MDG in the context of an SAP S/4HANA system landscape.
• The preferred candidate to have experience in Syniti SKF tools for data migration, analytic and cleansing process.
• Knowledge and experience of delivering SAP Transformation via Central Finance as a Steppingstone to full S/4HANA adoption is an advantage.
• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of various MDG strategies in order to support organisational change of moving to a centralised operating model.
• Experience of implementing complex MDG transformations along with a real comprehension of the common problems encountered when working across multiple time zones.
• Business Process Knowledge: Understanding business processes and workflows in relation to the overall MDG strategy across various domains, is required.
As this is a contract position, it will be managed by our 3rd party contractor vendor.
