Responsibilities:
- Assist the Vice Presidents of Trade Management Teams.
- Gather market intelligence by analysing supply & demand, trends in shipping industry. Effectively communicate the findings to Seoul HQ and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies, if required.
- Manage and support projects/ initiatives/ enhancement requests, ensuring that business and operation requirements, timelines and budgets are met.
- Deploy marketing strategies to acquire and retain customers, including differentiating value offers and go-to market strategies.
- Develop and recommend regional channels strategies that enable proposed market targeting and positioning.
- Perform competitive channel and pricing analysis to develop optimal regional pricing strategies.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams in the region to track and manage sales revenue generation from all targeted customer groups.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade management, shipping operations, or related fields.
- Proficient in English and Korean (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Korean is required for frequent correspondence and close collaboration with colleagues in Seoul HQ.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping industry trends, and market dynamics.
